The ocupation of a pateo in the S.Jorge Castle in Lisbon is always a sensible question. The spaces are small and the tradition is a thing to respect. And when the end user is the local authorities, the situation gets really complicated. How do we deal with this situation? How to design in a small space and not seem like a forced action? We propose a simple and direct piece, that integrates by hiding behind the wall. The claustophobic sensation is lost by the total transparency of the piece. The exterior skin has a double function of structure and sun shading. The program didn't allow great adventures. Meeting Room, Children Workshops, Senior Gym, etc. A space that suits everything is at the same time a space we're nothing fits. For us, a research oportunity…
